A buttressed core system has been used to support and stabilize the Burj Khalifa, a structure of great altitude. The building is also designed with a cladding system, to withstand the unbearable heat in Dubai during summers, and also has its own condensation management system which sustainably produces over a million gallons of water annually.
B199, is located in Istanbul and is designed by Oncuoglu Architecture. The 32 storey tower is supported by open terraces on the upper floors and social spaces on the lower floors; and the view is one of urban Turkey's most sought after. The project was inspired by the historical terrain of the two districts – Buyukdere and Gultepe. The façade and terraces are designed in a way to suit maximum sunlight and attract the best view of the cityscape.
Also known as One Bloor East and Number One Bloor, is considered as city’s most iconic residential apartments. The 76 storey tower was developed by Great Gulf Homes and looks especially spectacular in the evenings. One Bloor offers 700 premium residential suites framed by a silhouette of curved walls, that are contoured in the shape of a piano.
